1. Service
JustFixMe provides a Chrome extension and companion web dashboard that fix typos in selected text using AI. By using the service you agree to these terms.
JustFixMe is operated by D. Smidstrup Holding ApS (CVR 45751937), trading as Random Code, Havnegade 12, 3. 1, 5000 Odense C, Denmark. References to “we”, “us”, or “JustFixMe” in these terms mean D. Smidstrup Holding ApS.
JustFixMe is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI or Google. We use OpenAI's models via the official OpenAI API. We integrate with Google accounts for sign-in.
2. Accounts
You must sign in with a valid Google account to use the service. You are responsible for keeping your Google credentials and extension pairing tokens secure. One account per person.
3. Acceptable use
You may use JustFixMe to fix typos in text you have written or have permission to edit. You may not:
- Use the service to generate or rewrite content for any purpose other than spelling correction.
- Automate the extension via scripts or bots to bypass plan limits.
- Share your pairing token with others - each install has its own token.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the encrypted API key of another user.
- Use the service to process content that is illegal, infringes third-party rights, or violates OpenAI's usage policies.
4. Plans and payments
JustFixMe offers two plans:
- BYOK ($8 one-time): use your own OpenAI API key. Fixes are billed directly on your OpenAI account. Lifetime access to the extension and future updates.
- AI Included ($9 / month): we cover the AI cost up to 500,000 words per month. Subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
Payments are processed by Creem, our merchant of record. Creem handles billing, VAT, and payment processing on our behalf. Prices are shown at checkout and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Plan & billing page in your dashboard. After you cancel, access continues until the end of the current billing period. No further charges are taken.
6. Refunds
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of your first purchase. Because JustFixMe is a digital service delivered immediately, this right is lost once you begin using paid features (for example, running a fix on the managed plan or using the extension with your stored API key). If you have not used any paid fix during the 14-day window, email support@justfixme.app and we will issue a full refund.
Outside the EU withdrawal window, BYOK one-time purchases are non-refundable once the service has been used. Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable for the current period; you can cancel at any time and will not be charged again. If something goes wrong on our side, we will make it right - contact support and we will review the request on a case-by-case basis.
7. Support

8. Data and privacy
We do not store the text you fix. Your OpenAI API key (on the BYOK plan) is encrypted at rest and only decrypted in memory for the duration of a fix request. See our privacy policy for full details on data collection and storage.
9. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime. Fixes depend on external services (OpenAI API, Google sign-in) that are outside our control.
10. Liability
JustFixMe is provided “as is”. We are not liable for any consequences of AI-generated text replacements - always review a fix before sending. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms (including the cheat-detection rate limits that guard against automated abuse). You may delete your account at any time by emailing support. Upon deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
